Spring Youth News

March 2^nd-Jr & Sr highs will leave the church at 3pm to go

Skating at Kate’s in Rock Hill and to Ci Ci’s. Please bring

$7 for admission and skate rental or $8 for admission and

roller blade rental. We will return to the church at 6pm.

March 15^th-Providence Presbytery Youth Mission Day. Jr/Sr

Highs will have the opportunity to learn about local issues of

          hunger & homelessness first hand by feeding the hungry & homeless

at an agency funded by Dimes for Hunger. We will meet at the

church @8:30am and work at our mission from 9 until 12.

We will then join youth from 5 other counties for lunch,

reflection and worship. We will return to the church @4:30pm. 

March 16^th-Jr & Sr highs will meet at the church from 4-6pm

For Bible study, fellowship and pizza supper. We will begin our

  Bible study on spiritual gifts, Serving From the Heart. Do you know

What your spiritual gifts or talents are? Come & discover them…

Kat Ward from Bethelwoods will be speaking to

Youth & parents about summer camp opportunities during the

 last portion of Sunday school. Parents are encouraged to

come to the Sr. High SS room @10:20am to be a part of

this presentation. Brochures for summer

camp 2008 are now available.   

 March 22^nd-Easter Egg Hunt @ 2pm. Jr/Sr highs are needed

to help prepare treat bags, hide eggs, host games,

and distribute Prizes. Please email me or sign up as soon

as possible to volunteer your time to help!

March 23^rd- Happy Easter! No Jr & Sr high meeting.  

March 30^th- Jr & Sr highs will leave the church at 2pm to

Go bowling at Strikers in Rock Hill.

April 19^th-Relay for Life @York Comprehensive High School from

1pm to 1am. Sign up now to join our team and have the

opportunity to be a part of an amazing event. We will

have our own “camp site” located around the track

surrounding the football field. There will be

entertainment, concession stands, children’s activities

and a luminary ceremony at 8pm. Our team will take turns

walking around the track in remembrance and honor

of cancer patients, survivors, and those lost to the disease.
