JR & SR High

Junior Highs (6^th-7^th grade*)

Junior Highs will be learning more about who they are and what makes them special as children of God, learning interesting hobbies of members of the church, as well as studying ways they can make a difference in the world through service. They will take a weekend mission trip to the CROSS program in Charlotte, walk in the CROP Walk for Hunger,  and participate in Sunday night worship services. Outings will include the Winterfest Presbytery retreat, Ray’s Splash Planet, bowling,  a rafting & a camping trip. This age group will also have the opportunity to participate in the confirmation program, if they have not done so.

·        Senior Highs (8^th-12^th grade*)

Senior Highs will continue to study God’s call for their lives through hearing ways that folks understand their faith through their vocations. They will use computer skills to participate in the 5:30 worship service,  participate in the CROP Walk, Winterfest Presbytery retreat, and other outreach opportunities. Outings will include a ski trip and rafting trip, bowling, and the Montreat Sr High Conference.

*8^th graders can choose which group to attend this year.
